Camera Critters #30

Hi Everyone. How was your Halloween? Hope you all had fun.

My daughter, Rita, always decorates for Halloween, and always has a Jack-O-Lantern - except that she paints the face instead of carving, so it will last happily for a longer time.

Rita has two cats. I'm not sure what they think of this strange thing. What thoughts do you suppose are going through their heads?

This one is Libby.

And this one is Trina.

Rita took the photographs.

Stop by Camera Critters, thank Misty Dawn for hosting, and go visit some of the other critter pictures people have submitted.

Nice photos! My grandson Cain and me have drawn the faces on the pumpkins before. They do last much longer!

Hello! I don't think Libby really cares. With the expression on Trina's face, I would be very scared. Sleep with one eye open Rita. :o) Lisa

Halloween came and went quietly around here. It's pretty rural and dark so kids don't really make the rounds. I spent the evening with my cats and Bill Maher - we finally got HBO in Canada!!! My pumpkin displays have been winding down over the years: first I carved, then I painted, then I just artistically arranged a few small pumpkins and gourds, and last year I bought a fake jackolantern with a small lightbulb inside... But it's cute in the window!

Great shots for Halloween!!!

Libby and Trina are sure checking that pumpkin out. She sure did a good job of drawing a face on that pumpkin. Halloween was good here. My grandson had a blast.

Hehe - I can hear them thinking "I sure wish that orange thing would quit looking at me like that!" hehehe

I think Libby was intrigued by the Jack-O-Lantern and Trina was annoyed by the paparazzi! I like the idea of painting the face on the pumpkin... your daughter created a very cute Jack-O-Lantern!

LOL I don't think the kitties mind the pumpkin. Great photos.

I'm thinking she is wondering if that pumpkin came in a box because my daughters cat LOVES cardboard boxes and no matter what cat toy I buy for her cat, when she visits, the kitty plays with the box that the toy came in! tee he. Thanks for visiting my blog today. Stop back again!! Enjoy those camera critter posts!!

Libby looks a bit like Mia with shorter hair

She seems to be defying the pumpkin to move

Trina looks like she's saying "it's behind me isn't it!!"

Beautiful grand-furkids ya got there ;)

Great idea about not carving and that first kittie looks a lot like my Casey and he would be saying not another one. and the last kittie looks like my Precious and she would be saying get the heck out of here. LOL The kitties are adorable. And nope we never have trick or treaters here at the motel.Usually very quiet here on Halloween. Thanks for the stop over

Hi Bobby! Cats have always such a pensive, philosophical expression, that's why I am so fond of cats.
Thanks for showing them.

Such lovely cats … and a cute jack-o-lantern too! Halloween here was like most years … pretty much a non-event. We never get ‘trick or treaters’ and after 20 years, I’m pretty much resigned to the fact.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm thinking that they are thinking the pumpkinhead better not eat their food. :)

Libby seams a bit concerned about the jack-o'-lantern! Both kitties are very cute.

I've always wanted to know what goes on in the heads of our beloved pets. I figure these two lovely cats are thinking of ways they can get a free meal out of the deal. Both pictures made me laugh, as I was thinking the same thing - what's going through their mind? - before I even read your entry!

As I write this, our dog sleeps at my feet. I think he's glad it's all over for another year :)

Two great pics and perfect for the season. I cannot believe Halloween has already come and gone :(

I think Libby might be saying 'who's the new kid in town' and Trina is saying 'So?'
Very cute pics!
