Epilepsy Awareness Day

Today is Epilepsy Awareness Day. If you can, wear something purple today in observance. And go to epilepsy.org to learn what you can about this problem.

We have blogging friends who suffer from epilepsy. I have learned a little more than I knew from Michele, at Rocky Mountain Retreat, where she posts her beautiful photos from British Columbia. Her struggle has touched my heart.

Thanks for posting this Bobbie. My little yorkie was just recently diagnosed with epilepsy. She has had several seizures over the last year that were quite scary. She hasn't had one in 2 months. I worry when she is alone. I am learning more about it everyday. So far she takes medicine twice a day.
I pray for everyone that there is a cure someday.

Believe it or not, some people here in Northern California classify Calla Lilies as weeds. They grow everywhere!
