Now the Eagles

Well, I can see I'm not going to get much accomplished today. Between watching the hawks' nest, and now the eagles' nest, I'm going to be spending a whole lot of time right here on the computer.

The hawks are fun now that the babies are appearing on the scene!

And when I went to the eagles, I was lucky enough to see the "changing of the guard" as Papa and Mama changed places. the only picture I got of the two of them is really bad. Eagles just don't cooperate with photographers. But I got a pretty good one of the big guy settling down on the eggs afterwards. This is the nest that Deborah told us about. Their eggs haven't hatched yet.

Anyway, that's what I'm doing today. I guess it's just as well. I think my spring has sprung. I can't seem to do much any more without angina starting. Might as well enjoy sitting by the computer. The birds will keep me entertained.

Go sit outside in the sun for a little and take your camera, you never know what might happen

Baby-sitting hawks AND eagles must take all your time! Lovely photos.

Are you looking on a webcam at these guys on your computer? That's cool! We have our local access TV station that does that and you can tune in and watch but this year the nest over the river was damaged in a storm and I don't think they know where they've gone to yet. Your post is now making me curious to find out.

I like Daryl's advise. Go out and sit in the sun with your camera.

This was a wonderful post. Thank you, dear lady!
