Sky Watch Friday #36

Klaus' team is once again hosting Sky Watch Friday for us. Please visit the site and see a few hundred wonderful photos.

My photos today came from my daughter, Kathryn. She saw this rainbow from her front door, and then the other end from her window.

...............................................

Saturday, March 21, the first day of spring, is observed in Australia as Harmony Day. It is a day to celebrate harmony among people of all cultures, races, religions. Isn't that a wonderful idea! How about promoting this all over the world, in our blogs and in our lives? Their slogan is "Everyone Belongs"

Oh, what a lovely capture! Such hope the rainbow brings! You know, I think I'm going to tag all my posts the next few days with the "Everyone Belongs" slogan. It can't hurt and maybe it will help to be a reminder. Have a lovely day!

"Everyone belongs" - and what a perfect symbol - the rainbow!

Everyone belongs - THAT IS SO IMPORTANT TO ALL. Not feeling like an Outsider.

I really like the idea of "Harmony Day". It would totally not suck to have a big blog push to promote it. Wish I'd heard sooner, I'd have come up with something special for it. Could be a good trick with only two days left (and really only one day if you're in Australia).

Of all the thousands upon thousands of photos I've taken in my long life, I have never gotten a rainbow. But perhaps one of these days, eh? I mean how hard can it be, right? (Yeahrightasif).

I really like that bottom photo; it's very catching. Pun not intended. I think you have an excellent idea about Harmony Day. Thanks for passing that along; I didn't know that about Saturday.

Lovely rainbow. Not very visible in the second shot but as a photo it is very nice. Love the coloured star on the window pane.

Beautiful rainbow photos. Makes me want to find the bowl of gold at the end.

Australia is on to something. I think Harmony Day should be every day of the year.

Harmony Day. That's great. I like those Ausies!

That rainbow picture is so nice! It's hard to capture the colors, usually.

I do love rainbows. We get them quite often in Hawaii but it always makes me stop to admire them. Great shots!

You are right we need harmony among all people, but now a days so many people are suspicious of others, throwing that harmony off course.

The picture of the rainbow is great. The fact that it is taken in two parts is special for sure. Always have dreams of visiting Australia, maybe one day I can. Happy weekend, SWF. USA/Tennessee
