Shadow Shot Sunday #57

Happy Fathers' Day to all the Dads out there!

It's Shadow Shot Sunday once again! I love this meme! Thank you, Tracy.

I've been noticing for a long time the shadows made by the overhead wires on our highways. Never stop to take a photo. This week, I did it - not stop, but took pictures right through the windshield as I drove along. Not too bad, considering. I like their patterns.

The awnings on the house and the trees make nice shadows too.

Please forgive me if I don't comment much for a day or two. Not feeling up to par just now.

Feel better soon Bobbie ..

I like these shadows, your choices each week are such fun because they are usually shadows we see and take for granted ..

The shadows do look terrific. Sort of mesmerizing.

Feel better real soon.

Shadows on the streets are quite familiar sights, aren't they? But they seem to be a little rare around here lately due to the lack of sun rays penetrating those darn clouds... =D

I hope you feel better real quick .... sending get well hugs your way!♥

Take it easy, and hope you spring back soon. Love the shadows, so intriguing I'd have to be sure to pay attention to my driving!!

Very nice. They wires do make cool looking shadows. Bernie's house is something else. I love the landscaping they have done.

I do hope you feel better really soon! I'll hold good thoughts!

I love your shadow shots! You do have the most peaceful and pleasant looking roads I've seen in a long time! Would love to just drive around in your area.

Take care, Bobbie, I'll be thinking about you!

Wonderful shadows! I was actually worried about you because I didn't see a 'Bobbie' link in the SSS Mr Linky and I thought maybe something was wrong. Glad to see that you're here. Sorry to read that you're not feeling so great. I was going to enter your link to Mr linky but thought maybe you didn't add it because you were not up to many visitors or something today. So I'll leave it up to you. Take care and feel better soon xo

Hope you feel better... now!!!!
As for the shadows.. these have completely become normal.. to the point that I really have to think to see them. Of course, in Virginia Beach, most of the utilities are buried because of the problems with tropical storms and hurricanes.

I love your shots! With the few cars around, it looks like a very old picture...very simple, homey, comforting.
(I hope you were the passenger while you were taking the pics)
Feel better soon,
Happy SSS!

I love the pattern on the pavement. It's very geometric.

I hope you're feeling better!
