Still working on Carmi's theme of "Down". See his blog, Written, Inc. for more.
My little grandson has always liked to get right down to it out of doors. For instance, here he is a few years ago, sitting in a hole that was dug to plant the young avocado tree seen beside him.
In this one, he is fascinated by a grasshopper. Sorry, you can't see the insect he is watching.
And in these pictures, he is helping to pick strawberries. And eating them, of course.

What an adorable little guy your grandson is! And your pictures are delightful -- as always. Thanks so much for sharing them.
If you plant kids, do hey grow faster? Never met a boy who could resist a hole in the ground. Nope.
Bobbie, you have some lovely photo's here. I shall be back again
so adorable :)
Those strawberries must be delicious! What a terrific and handsome little helper!
mojo made me laugh!
I love the strawberry shot, and the grasshopper investigation
Those pictures of your grandson are just priceless. He is the cutest little boy. I just love seeing your pictures of him.
I can't say "how cute" again so I'll say isn't he precious!?
:-)
What a sweetie! Kids are so good at getting "down" and noticing all those things that bigger folks just don't pay attention to.
These are just great. Kids love to dig; it's so basic.
I love the shot of Isaac with the bowl of strawberries. Priceless.
