I have posted this sign before on my blog - very recently in fact, when I used it as a sign for Carmi's Thematic Photographic. I photographed it on a visit to Pacific Grove, CA. The accompanying butterfly picture isn't really from CA. It's from Leaming's Run Gardens, right here in NJ. But the sign is meant to protect Monarch Butterflies from careless drivers during the migration, which occurs in Pacific Grove just as it does here in Cape May Point.

A lovely butterfly and a nice sign. Hope the drivers do use caution during the migration. Those butterflies are too precious to be swatted on the windshield.

Nice shot of the monarch....have you ever taken a shot of the migration...I've never seen anything like that and would love to see it...it must be quite something to have made signs of caution ...

Wonderful sign ... marvelous capture! I'm reminded I actually caught some colorful butterflies recently myself in my neighbor's garden but haven't shared them. Maybe I'll do that next week. I'm late to visit Mellow Yellow posts, but am doing what I can to catch up today ... just because ;--)
